Eastern Airlines LLC, d/b/a Eastern Airlines, is the rebranded Dynamic International Airways. Eastern Airlines was established on 02-Apr-2018 after the US Department of Transportation approved the new corporate name. Dynamic exited chapter 11 on 08-Mar-2018 and the US DoT deregistered the trade names "Eastern" and "Eastern Air Lines", per Swift Air's request on 17-Apr-2018 (Swift Air acquired Eastern Air Lines in 2017), allowing Dynamic International Airlines to operate under the trade name. Eastern Airlines operates scheduled and non-scheduled services to domestic and international destinations. On 04-May-2023, Eastern Airlines announced an intention to acquire charter airline Hillwood Airways. The transaction is subject to regulatory approval and is expected to close in the coming months.
